Dr.Samin Sameed has completed his MBBS from Rajiv Gandhi university and MD in Psychiatry from Yenepoya University, Mangalore. He has a total work experience of 5years in psychiatry, including his stints at Kims hospital Trivandrum, a brief stint in Kerala health services as consultant at Thrippunithura, where he was running the outpatient and in-patient departments and was also in charge of the deaddiction centre and day care centre (“pakal veedu”) for the mentally ill.

He has undergone special trainings in child and adolescent psychiatry, neurology, psychology and counseling at the prestigious national institute of mental health and neurosciences (Nimhans), Bangalore. He has spoken on various topics related to mental health at many programs. He has conducted workshops on various topics at private firms as well. His areas of interest include addiction medicine (alcohol, nicotine, technology addiction), mood disorders (depression, bipolar) child and adolescent, marital counseling, anxiety disorders, etc.
